Caption, for immediate release: Three past National Grand Presidents of the Young Men's Institute meet to discuss plans for the forthcoming Diamond Jubilee Civic Banquet, to be held at the Mark Hopkins on April 26. (L-R) Sylvester Andriano, Principal Speaker for the event; William J. Murphy, Banquet Chairman; and Ray Williamson, Chairman of the Diamond Jubilee celebration, which will culminate in San Francisco's hosting the National and State convention in June. In announcing Mr. Andriano's acceptance, Mr. Murphy said: "This is one way in which we of the Y.M.I. can show our recognition and appreciation of our Senior Past Grand President's outstanding contributions to his Church and his community." Reservations for the gala Diamond Jubilee Civic Banquet can be obtained from the Institute Building at 50 Oak Street in San Francisco. |
