Notes Text attached to photo: "This fountain will be an important element in the United Nations Plaza. Made of white Sierra granite, the same stone used in the City Hall and other Civic Center buildings, some 10,000 gallons of water will be recycled through the fountain every minute. The model shows the stepped effect created by the use of massive granite slabs."
