Notes Newscopy: "Henri Ponnet (second from right), French ambassador to the U. S., was guest of honor yesterday at dedication of a plaque at 634 Clay-st on the site where Francois L. A. Pioche, pioneer Frenchman in California, established a place of business. The dedication was a highlight of the French Centennial celebration. Also present were, left to right, the Rev. Louis Le Bihan and Aubrey Drury, California Historical Society president."
