Notes |
Newscopy: "By special request from quite a few of you guys, here's Haight-st, looking west from Ashbury-st. Whenever we roll along Haight-st, it always seems to us it's changed less than any other street in town during the war. Especially the traffic. There's always at least one auto parked out too far from the curb, holding up a streetcar and making the motorman mumble, or a delivery truck with the back doors swinging open and making passing motorists mumble. But Haight is a great ol' street, darned busy, and always going strong for anything that'll help win the war, fast." |
