Notes Typed on back: "Installation of 760 tons of pre-designed Bethlehem Steel trackwork, now underway on Pier 50 extension, San Francisco, represents the largest individual pier track job ever to be put in place on the West Coast. This single pier addition with 14 acres of loading facilities and pier sheds will be able to handle more ship cargoes at the same time than any other single pier on the coast. The job, which is being performed for the Board of State Harbor Commissioners, is located on the spot historically recognized by 'Old Timers' of San Francisco as 'Mission Rock'. View shows crane lifting a 7-inch, 149-pound girder guard rail."
