Notes Newscopy: "MILLIONS OF RIDES BURIED HERE--While San Franciscans ride on the fenders of over-crowded streetcars, rust and dust gather on idle equipment in the Market Street Railway's "trolley graveyard" at Funston-av and Lincoln-way. Windows on the street side have long since been shattered by stone-throwing boys. Ironic sign in one graveyard car carries an appeal: "Men and women are needed to furnish transportation."".
