Notes |
On back: "Beniamino Bufano's collection of animal statuary at Hillsdale was highlighted today by the inaugural unveiling being done by Lt. Governor Harold J. Powers. Shown above at the occasion, which was attended by several thousand people; are David D. Bohannon, left, developer of Hillsdale; Beniamino Bufano, and Lt. Governor Powers. The collection of statuary, the largest collection of Mr. bufano's works ever permanently displayed, include eleven of Bennie's finest animal statue pieces. The ceremonies were enthusiastically welcomed by the art critics and press in attendance on the beautiful autumn afternoon at Hillsdale in San Mateo. These statues will be on permanent display for view to the public at their leisure." |
