SEARCH FOR FOUR IN ALCATRAZ PRISON BREAK - SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF.,--Coast Guard and police boats patrol the waters of San Francisco Bay and Coast Guardsmen and prison guards search the island on which Alcatraz Prison lies after an apparently futile attempt by four prisoners to break for their freedom. Of the four, Harold Brest, kidnaper and robber, was recaptured after being nicked by a guard's bullet; and bank robbers Floyd Hamilton and James Boarman and former Alvin Karpis associate Fred Hunter were reported 'to have been killed by gunfire or to have drowned.'
