Notes On back: "General Hospital of the Southern Pacific built on Fell Street in 1907 at a cost of $1,250,000. This railroad was the first in the world to establish a hospital for the exclusive use of its employes. The first one was built at Sacramento in 1867. There is now being constructed an additional wing on the right to take care of the growing ramifications of the hospital's service."
