Mitty, left yesterday dedicated a plaque on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, commemorating blessing of the bridge on Oct. 28, 1936 by Pope Pius XII (then Eugenio Cardinal Pacelli). With the archbishop is Jesse Colman, acting mayor. The ceremony was at the center anchorage. It was sponsored by the Italian Catholic Federation."
