Notes Newscopy: "Due here December 6 is the new lightship, No. 612, shown moored at Coast Guard Base, General Douglas MacArthur Causeway, Miami Beach, Fla. The vessel will take station 12 miles outside the Golden Gate after arrival here via the Panama Canal. --U.S. Coast Guard Photos."
Written on back: "The new U.S. Coast Guard Lightship 612 -- San Francisco is shown moored at the Coast Guard Base, General Douglas MacArthur Causeway, Miami Beach, Florida, when it stopped off briefly in October. The new Lightship is enroute to San Francisco via the Panama Canal and is due to arrive in San Francisco December 6th."
