Notes Caption on back: "There is a rare and old collection of fire arms in the office of Francis X. Latulipe, ballistics expert of the San Francisco Police Department. Latulipe, recognized as an international authority on fire arms, has a collection of guns that have figured prominently in many of the most important cases in San Francisco police history. Latulipe showed his rare collection yesterday to Miss Betty Jo Dahl and to Miss Bernice Voll, leaders in sales of tickets to the annual police ball. Miss Dahl and Miss Voll were chosen first of a ticket sale program at a recent Police Department competition. The girls headed a campaign to sell tickets to the ball, an annual affair staged for the benefit of the Widows' and Orphans' Aid Fund. As in the past, all proceeds from the ball will go to the benefit of the widows and orphans of Police officers who have fallen in line of duty. The ball, the 34th annual affair, will be staged this year in the Civic Auditorium. One of the many features of the ball will be an old fashioned dance held in the adjoining Polk Hall."
Written on back: "Betty Jo Dahl, Bernice Voll, Frank Latoulipe [sic], Sabia Dillon, Joan Sutton, Police Ball."
