Notes Newscopy: "This is a postman. He used to ring six days a week. Now it's only five. We won't be seeing him on Saturday any longer. And maybe by next year he'll be coming by your door only four times ... or three. At any rate, for the benefit of the kiddies, who are in school during the week and will no longer be able to see these 'swift couriers on their appointed rounds.' The News as a public service herewith publishes a photo of one of the Vanishing Americans. He is Andrew Kansky of 404 Lombard street, a seven-year veteran, as he puffs up steep Union street hill. (News Photo) (See story, page 1)."
