Notes Newscopy: "EDWARD T. MANCUSO, Public Defender elect, took his oath of office today, having been sworn into office for another term as Publci Defender by Gerald S. Levin, Judge of the Superior Court. Public Defender Mancuso was congratulated by Judge Levin for the outstanding job being performed by his office uin representing persons accused of crime who cannot afford to employ their own counsel. He praised the work of the members of the staff on behalf of those defendants appearing before his Court. Mr. Mancuso was first appointmeted Public Defender in April, 1954, elected in November of that year, and in the election last November was re-elected without opposition by a large vote."
