Lolita was presented an award for Community Health Service. Lolita said she was a very customer oriented person and this is how she succeeded in job. Lolita was officially named Chief Pharmacist in 1972 and served in the job for almost 33 years. She was the first female pharmacist at Kaiser and first woman of color. Lolita got her education at the University of Washington. When she moved to San Francisco, she had to take the California board in Stockton. This was eight years after completing her degree at UW.
