       Christopher officiating, the 12-story Ping Yuen North, on 
       Pacific ave., near Stockton st., was formally opened 
       yesterday. As more than 1000 persons looked on the mayor 
       presented keys to the first three tenants, who will move 
       in later this week, after lighting a string of 
       firecrackers to drive away the evil spirits. The low rent 
       housing project has apartments for 150 families and 44 
       single elderly residents.".
