Notes On back: "SF384449... (San Francisco Bureau) SECOND ALCATRAZ VICTIM - SAN FRANCISCO--Alcatraz guard William H. Miller, second victim of the desperate attempted prison break on the island fortress in San Francisco Bay, is shown being moved to Marine Hospital where he died late today (5/3). Although Miller was only slightly wounded by gun fire, his chest was crushed and most of his ribs broken. Bureaus CREDIT LINE (ACME) 5-3-46".
