Newscopy: "This neat bit of photography, plus some sketching, shows how the Civic Center will look if the city follows up plans for the construction of dormitories for visiting servicemen. The one at the lower left already has been built. Robert McCarthy, contractor, had a crew put the dormitory together in exactly one day! Then he gave it to the city, which probably will build the other dormitories sketched on this photo. Servicemen will be accommodated for only four bits a night."
