Newscopy: "JUMBO OF ALL S. F. PROJECTS--Among all the construction projects under way in San Francisco, the 'jumbo' is the Wells Fargo Building at Montgomery and Sutter Sts. A 43-story office tower at that intersection will be tallest West of Dallas. Even with an exhibit of how the building will appear in view, it is difficult to visualize that the steel structure now rising will support a skyscraper overshadowing all else in the City. Dillingham Corp. will own the $20 million edifice, built on land owned by Wells Fargo Bank. The project is scheduled for completion in 1966."
