Notes Newscopy: "A city inspection group is escorted around officers' row at Fort McDowell, where are lined 15 houses with 11 rooms and three baths, all in fine condition. The citizens' committee campaigning for city purchase of Angel Island thinks they could be rented to clubs. Hospital Cove on west side of [Angel Island facing Raccoon Strait] is headquarters for U.S. Public [Health Service. Sheltered cove would make fine small boat harbor. Service docks are shown at right, while administration buildings are off to left of picture]."
