| Description |
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is responsible for the administration of immigration and naturalization adjudication functions and establishing immigration services policies and procedures. The San Francisco District Office is one of 33 USCIS District Offices in the United States. Certain applications are filed directly with the District Office. Interviews that are required during the application process are also conducted in the District Office. Immigration staff is available to meet with customers to answer questions, provide information and forms. |

For general inquiries call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283. Live assistance is available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Recorded information is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Both services are available in English and Spanish. |
