| Description |
Provides emergency and transitional shelter for homeless women. Some beds are designated for HIV positive women and other beds are designated for women with a dual diagnosis of substance addiction and a mental or emotional condition. Provides on-site psychiatric assessment and evaluation. Transitional shelter residents receive case management, medication monitoring, counseling (including substance abuse counseling), and support group counseling. Also offers a senior program that serves homeless women 55 years of age or older. Offers case management, group counseling, money management, exercise classes, gardening, and field trips. |

Serves as an application agency for the San Francisco Shelter Plus Care Program which is a federally funded rental assistance program for homeless individuals and families. The program is administered by Human Services Agency (HSA). See individual program record for more information. |
