Description Offers citizenship and immigration services for refugees and immigrants including immigration counseling, legal services, and citizenship classes. The Refugee Employment Assistance Program (REAP) and Welfare to Work Employment Services include: intake, assessment, vocational English as a Second Language, job counseling, case management, job placement and retention services, as well as post employment services for employed individuals. These services are also available through a new program: Career Advancement for Cantonese and Vietnamese Speakers.
Eligibility Anyone in need of immigration services. Catholic Charities-sponsored refugee for Resettlement Services. Refugee referred by the International Rescue Committee for REAP. CalWORKS/PAES recipient for Welfare to Work Employment Services. Refugee or CalWORKS/PAES recipient for Individual Referral/On the Job Training.
Fee All services free except for low-cost legal immigration services, sliding scale.
