Description A comprehensive research facility on the history of Japanese-Americans, which includes books, periodicals, documents, maps, photographs, art and film. Available to businesses, community organizations, students, scholars and individuals. Translates historical documents from Japanese to English, and English to Japanese, and assists in genealogical research. Also organizes and presents exhibits of materials in the collection. Volunteer opportunities are available for general and technical positions including setting up exhibits and translation services. Publishes a quarterly newsletter for members, "Japanese American History Archives Newsletter."
Eligibility Open to the public.
Fee Free for services. Materials are for reference use only. Membership starts at $20.00 basic.
