Description Helps develop evidence-based special education and therapeutic preschool services for children with pervasive developmental disorders, partnering with public and private preschool special educational services. Training is provided for in-classroom psychotherapy for children who have been emotionally disturbed, have developmental disorders or have been stressed by traumatic events.
Develops and provides guided activity books for reducing transfers among foster homes experienced by children in foster care. Provides licenses for printing and use of mental health resources in disasters such as the Attack on America, earthquakes, tornado, firestorms, floods, hurricanes and mudslides.
Collaborates with the Family Services Center of King County, Seattle, to train their teachers and therapists in treatment of traumatized preshcoolers.
Trains other centers in the use of preschool therapeutic techniques. Also helps develop the Cornerstone Therapeutic Preschool Services and Research fund. Now focusing on the Ann Martin Center Cornerstone Service, Cornerstone Argentina, and developing a project with Harvard Medical School Dept. of Psychiatry. Eligibility Partner agencies servicing psychologically traumatized children, their caregivers and support professionals.
Fee Fee varies from $250 per hour to $2500 per day for training of private and governmental agencies, according to number and educational level of trainees and seniority of trainers.
