| Description |
Provides friendship, companionship, and support to prevent institutionalization through a senior volunteer program. Senior volunteers work 20 hours per week with frail, disabled, or isolated seniors. Volunteers receive a small (tax-exempt) stipend, transportation reimbursement, and other benefits. |

Volunteers must be 60 years of age or older; meet income guidelines; pass a physical examination; and able to work with seniors with special needs. |
