| Description |
Assists veterans and their dependents in applying for Veterans Affairs financial benefits. Provides counseling regarding eligibility, benefits options, and claims assistance. Application process can be expedited for veterans with hardships, terminal illness, elderly or homeless. Provides assistance with the appeals process for persons who have been denied benefits. Provides information and the necessary forms for other non-financial Veterans Affairs benefits. Provides referrals to other organizations that offer services to veterans. Offers speakers who will provide information about Veterans Affairs benefits. Maintains an "Outstation" office: SF VA Medical Center - Ft.
