| Description |
Acquires, preserves and exhibits a permanent collection of ancient and European art from 2,500 B.C. to the present. Organizes and presents visiting art exhibitions. Offers educational programs, art lectures and docent tours. Individuals may join the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and support the nonprofit organization which funds both the Legion of Honor and the M. H. de Young. |
| Fee |
$10 admission for adults (18 to 64 years of age); $7 for senior citizens (65 years of age and over); $6 for youth 13 to 17 years of age; children 12 years of age and under are admitted free. Free general admission on the first Thursday of each month. There may be an additional charge for special exhibitions. |
