Description The Western Neighborhoods Project is a nonprofit organization that was formed to preserve and document the history and culture of the neighborhoods in western San Francisco (Richmond, Sunset, OMI and West of Twin Peaks). Historical information is maintained and is accessible through the project's Web site (www.outsidelands.org). The organization seeks personal memories and photographs to help document the stories of local businesses, schools, clubs, etc. Individuals can share their memories/stories through an online message board, or they can request a questionnaire by mail.
