Description Offers a variety of medical services through a number of specialized clinics. Provides a Drop-In/Same Day Clinic. Clients must come in person to make the appointment. Provides a Drop-in Nurse Clinic that provides hypertension and tuberculosis screening. No appointment is necessary for the Drop-in Nurse Clinic. Provides a General Medical Clinic. The HIV Clinic provides early intervention and AIDS treatment. Serves as an enrollment site for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). An appointment is necessary. Testing is available as part of the intake process. The Women's Clinic provides primary care with an all-female provider staff. An appointment is necessary. The Latin Clinic provides primary care for Spanish speaking clients. An appointment is necessary. The Transgender Clinic provides primary care for transgendered individuals. An appointment is necessary. The drop-in clinic hour for intake is Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. The Tom Waddell Health Center provides services to homeless individuals, residents of shelters, SROs and other housing facilities. Also provides seasonal flu shots. Offers social services including assistance with benefit programs (e.g. County Adult Assistance Programs). Nutrition services are provided upon referral from clinic services. Serves as an application agency for the San Francisco Shelter Plus Care Program which is a federally funded rental assistance program for homeless individuals and families. The program is administered by the Human Services Agency (HSA). See individual program record for more information.
Eligibility Homeless or near-homeless individual with medical, mental health, substance abuse, and/or social problems. Serves medically indigent adults (MIA).
Fee Sliding scale; private insurance, Medi-Cal and Medicare accepted.
