Description Offers comprehensive sexually transmitted disease (STD) evaluation, treatment and risk reduction/prevention counseling services as well as confidential HIV testing for limited high-risk groups. Provides family planning services including birth control counseling, PAP smears and emergency contraception. A limited number of free condoms are available.
Provides specialized services to individuals who believe they have had significant exposure to HIV within 72 hours. When appropriate after evaluation by a clinician, available services include PEP (medications), HIV testing and risk reduction counseling. For more information call 487-5538 as soon as possible after an exposure. Also offers STD technical assistance and expert consultation for healthcare providers and community-based organizations.
Eligibility San Francisco resident. Any patient 12 years or older does not require parental consent; under 12 with parental consent.
Fee A $10 donation requested. No one is turned away for lack of funds. Family PACT accepted.
Application STD services drop-in only. Thursday morning HIV care and family planning services are by appointment.
