Description Provides comprehensive primary health care for all ages. Sponsors a medical hotline which provides medical information and advice (415-715-0355; during the health center's open hours). Health screenings include seasonal flu shots (for seniors age 60 and over and individuals with a chronic illness), hypertension and tuberculosis screening. Children's services include a well baby clinic, a children's clinic, a teen clinic, a Child Health Disability Prevention (CHDP) program, immunizations, school physicals, and dental care. Public Health nurses make home visits. Serves as an enrollment site for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). Services as a WIC voucher distribution site.
The women's clinic provides breast exams/mammograms, Pap smears, pregnancy testing, sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing, and family planning. Prenatal care with delivery is provided at San Francisco General Hospital (SFGH).
Provides confidential HIV testing. Call 415-715-0310 for an appointment. The hours for testing vary. An appointment is required.
Sponsors a satellite health clinic which provides primary health care for families with children. Call 415-715-0310 for an appointment. Appointments are available in the afternoon, Tuesday through Thursday. The satellite clinic is located at 1099 Sunnydale Avenue, 3rd floor.
