Description Provides a full range of primary medical care and programs for individuals with HIV, cancer and hematology conditions. Services include day-infusion services, diagnostic workups, pharmicist consultations, laboratory service, acute crisis intervention and mental health referrals. Provides on-site physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, clinical nurses, research nurses, oncologists, hematologists and infectious disease specialists. Letters of diagnosis are made through the Social Work Associate, in person or by telephone, with a release of medical information.
Programs include the Primary Care HIV/AIDS Clinic; PHP Research Group, which included the ACTG and Community Consortium research groups; Women's HIV/AIDS Clinic; Lymphoma Clinic; general hematology; HIV and Cancer diet and nutrition counseling; HIV Oncology Clinic; HIV Dermatology Clinic; HIV Metabolism/Wasting management; Neurology Clinic; HIV/AIDS Psychiatric Services; HIV anal colposcopy clinic; Prescription Drug Refill Clinic and Pharmacy Services; cytomegalovirus (CMV) management services; referrals to home visits and hospice care; and intravenous (IV) infusion services. Serves as an enrollment site for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP).
