Description Provides free weekly needle exchange services at various street locations and times throughout San Francisco. Provides a one-for-one, clean-for-used syringe exchange as an AIDS prevention method. Provides information and referrals to social services on request. Also distributes alcohol wipes, cotton, condoms, sterile water, tourniquets, and educational information. Medical services, outreach services, HIV testing, and food are provided at many of the sites. Volunteer opportunities are available.
