| Description |
Operates a community-based adolescent health clinic that provides comprehensive health services. Primary care services include: birth control options, family planning, pregnancy testing and choice counseling, sexually transmitted disease /infection (STD /I) screening and treatment, acute and episodic care, management of chronic health problems, confidential rapid HIV testing (results in twenty minutes), counseling and medical care, and specialty linkage and referral. Provides case management and counseling services for individuals and families. Offers crisis intervention, short and long term case management, therapy, and linkage to various services. Also provides prevention/education services to address high risk behaviors including wellness education, health promotion activities including free youth led health education workshops in the community, and life skills training through a peer-based approach. Services are provided through groups and one-on-one interventions. |
