| Description |
Provides comprehensive primary care services for all ages. Offers direct treatment and preventive health services including prenatal services with delivery at San Francisco General Hospital; a multilingual preventive health program for new immigrants; a well baby clinic; Child Health Disability Prevention (CHDP) exams; dental services for children 4-17 years of age; immunizations; adult health screening and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses; blood pressure and tuberculosis screening; cancer screening for post-menopausal women; and complete family planning services. Serves as a WIC nutrition program site. Distributes free condoms to established clients. Serves as an enrollment site for the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP). Provides sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing and treatment for established patients. |

Additional preventive services include health education, information and referral, nutrition counseling and seasonal flu shots (for individuals 50 years of age or older). The Department of Public Health's Newcomer's Program stations community health workers at this center, to work in various community settings and serve on a citywide basis.
