Description Distributes low vision aids and provides counseling in their selection and use. Carries an extensive selection of visual aids on site. Provides public and professional education, in-service training, information and referral, recreational activities for seniors, and support services for people with low vision or partial eyesight. Publishes a quarterly newsletter. Maintains a large print lending library. Provides consultation to agencies on assessment and removal of barriers for visually-impaired clients and distributes information on standards for producing large print books. Offers support groups for partially-sighted adults age 55 and older. Offers speakers on the topics of aging and eyesight. Also sponsors a support group that meets the first Friday of every month.

Fee Optional membership fee is $50 per year.
