| Description |
A multipurpose cultural center which provides educational, social and recreational services primarily for low-income Korean-Americans. The Senior Community Service Program provides Korean-English oral and written translation and interpretation, lectures, arts and crafts, field trips, social activities, citizenship classes, computer classes, film presentations, and information and referral. Serves lunch for seniors beginning at 11:30 a.m., Monday through Saturday. Sponsors Min-Sok, a Korean folk art festival held in May. |

Youth programs and services include summer job training and internships, cultural awareness, academic tutoring, SAT test preparation, and bilingual counseling. Sponsors the Youth Advanced Project which provides job training skills, computer, mathematics and, English classes, and field trips. |

Provides WIA (Workforce Investment Act) training including English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, clerical skills, computer skills, and job seeking assistance (resume writing, interviewing skills, and job search techniques). |

The Intercultural Institute of California (IIC), a nonprofit organization affiliated with the Korean Center, sponsors the Global Communications Program (GCP). GCP is an international studies program which provides English communication skills instruction, training in computer technology and intercultural awareness for non-native English speakers. Provides instruction in Korean language and culture for native English speakers and a Masters Degree in Korean Studies. Provides summer Korean language instruction for San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) high school students who wish to receive school credit. Maintains the Woo-Jung Library which specializes in Korean studies in English and is open to the public. Also offers two computer labs which provide public Internet access for a fee. |

Youth programs - 7 to 21 years of age and low-income; (San Francisco residency for some programs). Job training program - individual with limited English proficiency and a resident alien. Global Communications Program - 21 years of age and older. |
