| Description |
Provides free, confidential, comprehensive, multilingual information and referral for anyone needing services from Bay Area health and human service agencies. Following a thorough assessment, referrals are given and follow-up calls will be made to determine if services were received. Offers 2-1-1, an easy to remember 3 digit phone number, 24 hours daily for San Francisco callers and a toll free phone number, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. for callers outside of San Francisco County. Also offers the Immigrant Assistance Service to immigrants, refugees and asylees, and referrals to local self help and mutual support groups covering a variety of topics. Volunteer opportunities are available. |
