Description A nonprofit advocacy and support organization focusing on the problems facing urban Latino workers with an emphasis given to unorganized workers, women, and recent immigrants from Mexico and Central America. Provides free Spanish bilingual information and referral to individuals who have employment and labor related concerns. Provides legal counseling and representation on related employment issues including wages, overtime, injuries, discrimination, and benefits. Provides Spanish translation of work-related documents. Provides outreach including workplace legal seminars, union leadership training and worker's rights. Conducts financial literacy workshops.
Fee Free. Donations are accepted.
Application Call or drop in during weekday hours. Saturday appointments are available by arrangement.
