| Description |
Provides legal services for lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders (LGBT) including free legal advice and counseling over the telephone. Sponsors the Youth Project which provides legal representation, advocacy, and information and referral for LGBT youth (800-528-NCLR). |

Sponsors the Lesbian and Gay Immigration Rights Task Force which provides assistance to lesbian and gay immigrants as well as working with other community-based immigration groups. Provides technical assistance to agencies and lawyers who advocate for lesbian rights. Provides speakers through its community education workshops. Publishes a biannual newsletter, "NCLR Newsletter" and publications related to lesbian and gay legal rights. Volunteer opportunities are available. |
