| Description |
Provides organized choral singing opportunities for gay men. Presents annual subscription series concerts. Also provides the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus SingOut Program that offers performances by request. Also sponsors a small ensemble, del Castro, that specializes in Spanish language songs. Concert venues include the Castro Theatre, Davies Symphony Hall, ODC Theater, and Union Square. Volunteers of any gender are welcome. |
| Eligibility |
SFGMC is an auditioned chorus, auditions are held in August and January. |
| Fee |
All chorus members pay dues of $27 per month and must purchase their own tuxedo ensemble. Prices for concert tickets vary. |
| Application |
Interested singers should visit the Web site or call the Chorus office at 415-865-3650. An audition packet will be mailed a month before the next scheduled audition. |
