Description Provides bilingual social services, translation and interpretation services, and Japanese and English classes. Offers information and referral related to employment, housing, education, and immigration. Also provides cultural, educational, and recreational activities through a drop-in center. Maintains a small library of Japanese books and a community board listing job openings, and educational opportunities in Japanese and English.
Eligibility None.
Fee Varies for translation, interpretation, and language classes; other services are free. Membership fee is $36 for an individual; $30 for seniors; $15 for students; $50 for families; and $100 or more for sponsors. Also accepts Group/business members starting at $50. Membership includes a monthly calendar of events, notice of activities, newsletter every other month, discount for all the activities and classes, and many more benefits.
