| Description |
A volunteer organization that picks up excess food from hotels, caterers, restaurants, grocery stores and other businesses for the purpose of delivering it to local shelters, feeding programs, and residential care facilities. Food Runners is dedicated to ending hunger and alleviating waste in San Francisco. |
| Eligibility |
Recipients: agencies that serve food to individuals or have low income residents in need of food. Donors: businesses that want to donate perishable and prepared foods. Volunteers: individuals with their own vehicles, valid California driver’s license and proof of auto insurance. |
