| Description |
Provides a variety of services designed to assist disabled individuals to live independently. Offers community living options planning, benefits counseling/advocacy for Social Security, SSI, and other government programs, peer counseling training and support groups, and self-advocacy workshops. Offers housing options counseling and housing referrals, technical assistance to institutions concerned with access issues, and sensitivity workshops for businesses and social service agencies. Offers workshops for disabled individuals exploring employment options. Provides information and counseling regarding hiring a personal attendant. Advocates for related issues including individual access concerns, employment discrimination, and ADA education. Provides information and referral services. |
