| Description |
Provides legal assistance to low-income San Francisco residents. Assists with public benefits including CalWorks, SSI, County Adult Assistance Programs, Food Stamps, and with family law and domestic violence issues. |

Assists with eviction defense and landlord and tenant relations. If the eviction is due to non-payment of rent, client must be prepared to deposit rent due. Provides referrals. The program is a member of the San Francisco Domestic Violence Consortium. |

The Community Health Advocacy Project, which is part of the statewide Health Consumer Alliance, assists with health access issues. The project provides education to low-income consumers on their rights and responsibilities to health care, and assistance to help ensure that consumers are receiving the health care they need. |
