Elder Abuse Reporting telephone service - 24 hours, Monday through Sunday
Description Provides a 24-hour, seven day a week telephone hotline that assists elders and disabled and/or dependent adults who are abused, neglected, or at risk of abuse or neglect. The abuse may be physical violence, sexual assault, financial exploitation, neglect by others, self-neglect, abandonment, or emotional harassment and intimidation. Provides short-term case management and crisis intervention services, and referral to services that assist in stopping the abuse and ensuring on-going safety. Services include: emergency shelter, in-home protection, counseling, and other tangible services. These services are voluntary.
Eligibility 65 years of age or older; or 18 to 64 years of age and a dependent or disabled.
