Description Sponsors the Ferry Plaza Farmer's Market on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays held at the Ferry Building. Sponsors a Garden Market held on Sundays. The markets are held year-round, rain or shine.
Manages education programs which promote stewardship of regional sustainable agriculture and link urban consumers with local food producers. Meet the Producer, talks given by market vendors and farmers, and Shop with the Chef, which educates shoppers about seasonal produce and farm products are among the educational activities given at the market. Volunteer opportunities are available.
