Description Provides emotional support for parents, grandparents, and adult siblings of a child that has died. Provides a free information package with brochures and other printed information on bereavement and coping with the loss of a child. Provides referrals to community services. Sponsors a support group that meets in San Francisco on the second Wednesday of the month, 7:30 p.m., in the Community Room of the Taraval Police Station, 2345 24th Avenue (near Taraval Street). Call 415-457-3123 for more information. Publishes the "Compassionate Friends Newsletter," every other month. The newsletter is available to anyone who calls and requests to be added to the mailing list.
Eligibility Parent, grandparent or the adult sibling of a child that has died. Information package available to anyone.

Application Call 415-457-3123 for information package. It is not necessary to call before attending the meeting.
