Description Provides supportive services to individuals affected by brain tumors including patients, their families and friends. Sponsors a toll-free line (800-934-CURE) which provides information and referral including clinical trials, patient support groups, and disease information. Sponsors a support line network in which brain tumor patients can talk to other brain tumor patients over the telephone. Maintains a resource library (including books, pamphlets, brochures, and journals) that is open to the public. Offers assistance to individuals interested in starting related support groups. Sponsors related national and regional conferences for patients, families, friends and health professionals. Funds related medical research. Publishes a quarterly newsletter, "Search." Volunteer opportunities are available.
